Lisa Weinert, LMSW, RYT

You may be navigating a loss, a change in your relationships, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself. Therapy offers a supportive space to slow down, listen with care, and explore what feels difficult or unresolved.
We make sense of our lives through the stories we carry about who we are, what we have lived through, and what may be possible. Together, we can explore those stories, honor your experiences, and make room for greater choice and connection in your life.
My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. Drawing on my work in Narrative Healing™, I integrate conversation, mindfulness, and mind-body awareness to help you reconnect with your voice and values. When helpful, we may also explore reflective writing. You don’t need to be a writer, and writing is always optional.
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re unsure where to start. I’ll meet you wherever you are, and we’ll move at a pace that honors your needs.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York and provide psychotherapy under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Sessions are 50 minutes, and my fee is $250. A limited number of sliding-scale spaces are available. I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
