Nurture your voice.

I am passionate about the power of storytelling to heal and transform lives. For the past 15 years, I have worked with hundreds of award-winning and bestselling authors as an editor, publicist, and literary coach, including Dani Shapiro, Oliver Sacks, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Mary Gaitskill. Alongside my publishing career, I have been a committed yoga student and teacher, with specialities in restorative, therapeutic and trauma-informed yoga. I believe yoga and writing go hand in hand—each unlock the stories we carry. I am the founder of Narrative Healing, a program that combines meditation, yoga, and writing to help writers (re)connect to their bodies, and feel empowered to launch their work into the world. I offer personalized holistic literary coaching, as well as group workshops, courses, immersions through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Wesleyan University, and The Authors Guild.

Lisa Weinert has a special gift for weaving mindfulness into all aspects of literary life. Her thoughtfulness, generosity and grace as a teacher and moderator is astounding. She offers a rare attentiveness that makes people feel truly heard and creates the space people need to create. I can’t imagine a better guide for anyone looking to deepen their writing practice, navigate the publishing world or make new connections in the field.
