Lisa Weinert is the founder of Narrative Healing™, author of Narrative Healing: Awaken the Power of Your Story, and a literary coach, editor, mindfulness teacher, and social worker dedicated to helping people transform their lives through writing.
For more than two decades, Lisa has worked with hundreds of writers—from first-time authors to established thought leaders, educators, activists, executives, and bestselling authors—helping them develop books, clarify their message, strengthen their voice, and bring meaningful work into the world.
Before founding Narrative Healing, Lisa spent nearly a decade in publishing, working with award-winning and bestselling authors as an editor, publicist, and publishing professional. Her career has included leadership and teaching roles with major publishers, universities, wellness centers, conferences, and organizations, including Wesleyan University, the Authors Guild, the Omega Institute, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and corporations and nonprofits across the country.
Lisa’s clients have secured literary agents and book deals, launched successful books and businesses, expanded their speaking and teaching opportunities, strengthened their leadership platforms, and developed sustainable creative practices that continue long after the coaching relationship ends.
What distinguishes Lisa’s work is her unique integration of publishing expertise, contemplative practice, and trauma-informed care. As the creator of Narrative Healing™ and a Master’s-level social worker, she understands that writing is not only a creative act—it is often a process of meaning-making, growth, resilience, and transformation.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief:
Our stories have the power to transform us. When we learn to listen deeply, write honestly, and share courageously, we awaken possibilities that extend far beyond the page.
